CPA STEM for Families

Thursday, February 26, 2026
5:00pm to 6:00pm
Add to Cal

We are excited to resume our STEM for Families events! To kick off the new year, we will explore viscoelastic materials that can be found right at home.

Dr. Kayane Dingilian will demonstrate how the microscopic properties of everyday materials determine the behaviors we observe on the macroscopic scale.

Date & Time: Thursday, February 26, 5:00–6:00 PM
Location: CHEN 130 (see attached map)

We especially invite middle school and high school students to join us. Younger students are very welcome as well, but will benefit most if accompanied by an adult.

Please RSVP using the Google Form so we can prepare enough supplies for everyone.

We encourage you to invite friends who could be interested in this even to sign up using the same link, and don't hesitate to contact me with any questions.

We look forward to seeing you there!
